Meritt Schoenecker

CEO/Founder

My name is Meritt Schoenecker and I am from a small town outside of Milwaukee. I graduated in 2020 with a degree in journalism and started HH my Junior year after having an impactful interaction with Madison’s homeless community in 2017.

Maggie Siepmann

President

My name is Maggie Siepmann and I am currently a senior at UW studying Rehabilitation Psychology, with a plan to go to Occupational Therapy school. I look forward to helping the homeless population of Madison by giving back to this organization that has already heated so many hearts and hands. I look forward to taking on this role to develop connections and serve the homeless population of Madison!

Calli Huskisson

Vice President

My name is Calli Huskisson and I am currently a Senior at UW studying developmental & applied economics and communications. After having the opportunity to serve the people in need in Milwaukee for multiple years, I have a heart for creating relationships with those in my community. I cannot wait to serve and create those connections here in Madison with such a great organization!

Jack Siepmann

My name is Jack Siepmann and I am currently a Senior at UW studying Biology on a Pre-Med Track. Tara and I worked closely on our high school student government together and are excited to continue to work together on Hearty Hands. It is so awesome to give back to the Madison community while working with such an amazing team.

Alexis Woida

Co-President

My name is Lexi Woida. I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying biochemistry on a pre-med track. I am so grateful to be a part of the Hearty Hands team and experience the direct effects of our actions on the Madison community. It’s truly inspiring to see the ways in which people’s lives are impacted by this organization!

Tara Osbourne

I am a currently senior studying Retailing & Consumer Behavior and Spanish at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Growing up in a small town outside of Milwaukee I have grown up being quite close with the members of my community. Hearty Hands has given me the opportunity to get to know community members in Madison while giving back to those in need. I truly have a special place in my heart for all those we serve and am grateful to be involved with such a wonderful organization.
