What We Do

Hearty Hands is a non-profit organization whose mission is to heat and heal the hands and hearts of Madison’s homeless population. Wisconsin’s volatile and unpredictable weather patterns make for brutally cold winters. Without proper care, conditions like these cause chapped, cracked skin. Frostbite is also a serious threat for Madison’s homeless population. We provide and distribute hand warmers twice a week to the local community and donate Hearty Packages containing latex gloves, intensive care lotion, mittens, and hand warmers with instructions on how to use the products together for extreme hand recovery.
